TWO Bromsgrove brothers slept rough in Birmingham to raise money and awareness for a homeless charity.
Tristan and Max Shaylor took part in St Basil’s Big Birmingham Sleepout in the grounds of Birmingham Cathedral.
Conditions were freezing but the siblings managed to last the whole night in the shelter he’d made from cardboard and plastic sheeting.
So far, Bromsgrove Preparatory School pupil Tristan and his brother have raised more than £350 in sponsorship - visit www.stbasils.org.uk to find out how to donate.
St Basil’s raises awareness and money for young people at risk of homelessness to find and keep their accommodation.
The brothers' mum said: “There was a great community spirit and the boys really enjoyed the excitement of sleeping out and building the cardboard dwelling for the night.
"They were pleased they managed the whole night and felt it was quite an achievement."
