POLICE are investigating a carjacking in Halesowen.

A man was threatened and had his car stolen by force in The Infield, on Monday (January 13) night at around 9.45pm.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said the car later was found nearby.

A spokeswoman said: "Police are investigating reports of a robbery where a man was threatened and had his car taken on The Infield, Halesowen at 9.45pm yesterday (January 13).

"His car was later recovered nearby.
