RIVERSIDE Primary School in Hereford has been recognised by the Minister of State for Education for the very high level of progress achieved in reading, writing and maths in the Key Stage 2 assessments last year.
The results place Riverside Primary in the top three per cent of primary schools in the country.
Pupil progress scores indicate improvement by pupils between their first two years at primary and when they leave at 11.
Headteacher Emma Shearer was delighted by the results.
She said: “Following our Ofsted success and recent sporting achievements, Riverside Primary continues to go from strength to strength and our pupils continue to thrive.”
