LUDLOW Rotarians have been working to help groups around the town including the Food Bank.

During the unprecedented circumstances Ludlow Rotary Club have been supporting the local community by disbursing funds to local community projects supporting those in need.

The Club has raised more than £1,500 and have so far distributed this amongst organisations such as the Ludlow Food Bank, Hands Together Ludlow/Pulling Together Ludlow, the Friends of Corley, and Shropshire Domestic Abuse Service, who are all helping in different ways to support those who are finding it hard to cope at this time.

It plan to continue to help local community groups during the coming months as the country slowly come out of lockdown and get back towards a more normal way of life.

Locall charities or organisation supporting members of the Ludlow community who are experiencing hardship, are asked to contact Rob Hall the Rotary Club’s community lead who will see if there is anything that it can do to help..

The Rotary Club has had to cancel its big fund-raising Dog Day that was to have been held at Stokesay Court in July that would normally raise tens of thousands of pounds. But they plan to hold the event again in 2021.
