POLICE caught 20 lockdown speeders on the M5 on Sunday, one travelling at 124mph while another driver had a toddler loose in a passenger's lap.
West Mercia’s Operations Patrol Unit stopped drivers travelling at speeds of between 94 and 124mph between junctions 7 (Worcester South) and 8 (Strensham). Yesterday a car was seen on the M5 between junctions 5 (Droitwich) and 7 (Worcester South) with an ‘unrestricted toddler' on the front seat passenger’s lap. The driver was reported.
