A CITY centre restaurant has put forward a plan to open until the early hours at the weekend.
Mexican restaurant and takeaway El Mexicana in The Cross in Worcester has put forward plans to sell food and alcohol until 3am on Friday and Saturday nights and midnight during the rest of the week.
The restaurant currently has permission to open until 11pm on Friday and Saturday nights.
Supermarket chain Lidl has also asked permission to sell alcohol between 7am and 11pm every day under its plans to open a new store in Worcester.
Lidl had its plan to open at the JVM Castings site in Droitwich Road approved by Worcester City Council's planning committee in April.
Coffee shop Black and White in Foregate Street has also asked for permission to sell alcohol from its shop every day between 8am and 11pm.
