The M5 southbound between Bromsgrove and Droitwich is completely blocked after a serious crash.
Highways West Midlands said just after midday that all lanes were blocked between J4A at Bromsgrove and J5 at Droitwich due to a 'multi-vehicle collision'.
West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed to the Advertiser that an ambulance was en route to the scene.
They said they were called at 12.03pm to reports of a collision involving a car and a lorry.
