POLICE are appealing for witnesses to come forward after two men were robbed outside The Rising Sun in the town centre.
Two men in their 20s were walking between The Rising Sun pub and The Palace Theatre when they were approached by two men who demanded they empty their pockets.
The men are reported to have removed cash from one of the wallets before a passing member of the public interrupted.
The two men then left the scene.
It happened on Alcester Street between 6.30pm and 7.30pm on Tuesday, October 2.
Enquiries are ongoing but officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, or who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area at the time.
