A NUMBER of youngsters from Redditch recently took part in the University of Worcester Storytelling Festival for Children.
Pupils from Church Hill Middle School, working with Sandra Salter, owner of Salty’s Studio, made pin jointed characters and used them to make a stop animation film.
The two-week festival, in its 12th year, welcomed a host of renowned storytellers, authors, illustrators and dramatists who entertained more than 4,000 youngsters from schools across the region at the university’s Worcester campus.
A family weekend saw further storytelling activities open to the public, including the chance to work with Wallace and Gromit creators, Aardman Animation.
