MORE than £630 has been raised for the family of Hannah Smith who was killed in Redditch last month.

A gofundme page was set up to raise money for Hannah's family after the 28-year-old was killed in Auxerre Avenue in Redditch at around 5.45am on August 26.

Police were called following reports of a collision between a black Toyota Avensis estate and a young woman.

Hannah was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Her family paid tribute, calling her a "kind and caring" woman.

"Hannah, not only were you our daughter and sister, you were also our best friend," they said.

"You were kind and caring, and would do anything for anyone. You made us laugh and cry.

"You will be missed and you will be in our hearts and thoughts now, and always. Sleep well darling Hannah. Love as always."

Police are still keen to speak with anyone who saw the incident, was in the area at the time, or has dashcam footage of the collision.

They would particularly like to speak to the driver of a small, dark, hatchback car who was seen driving down Auxerre Avenue at around the time of the incident as they may be a key witness and could help with the investigation.

Anyone with any information is being asked to call West Mercia Police on 101 quoting incident number 133s of 26 August 2019.
