THE Snowman is returning to Birmingham Repertory Theatre in the New Year.
The national favourite will be making a flying visit from Wednesday, January 11 until Sunday, January 15, with its wonderful mix of storytelling, spectacle and magic.
And this year, the show will feature a brand new recording of the iconic song Walking in the Air in a new arrangement by Howard Blake and sung by Aled Jones.
Singer Aled Jones said: “Walking in the Air caps off such a great year for me and I’m thrilled to give it a new lease of life.
"Who knows, maybe we’ll get to the top of the Christmas chart again.”
Howard Blake said: “This is a unique theatrical event whereby through the wonders of technology one can hear Aled at the age of 12 singing with Aled as the tenor he is now.
"I am delighted that we can include it in the show.”
