STOURPORT motocross ace Finley Smith has savoured a successful 12 months.
The 10-year-old has kicked on in his fifth year of racing, impressing for the Warley Wasps and Wem clubs.
He finished the season with a first place in Warley’s summer season and second in their club championship.
The St Bartholews pupil was also part of a 65ccs team representing Warley which tasted victory in Wales.
Smith carried on his excellent form by winning Wem’s club championships The young rider was also asked to ride for Salop at the British ACU event at Mallory Park and helped the team come first.
Finley has now made the decision to step up to the 85cc engine class.
He is backed by sponsor Stourport-based Indian restaurant Namaste, who have given the youngster £500, which has helped to pay for tyres.
