HARRIERS' title hopes in the Blue Square Premier were given a lift after rivals Mansfield saw their winning run ended with a 2-1 loss at Wrexham tonight.
Paul Cox's side had taken the lead in the 53rd minute through Matt Green, which knocked Steve Burr's side off the top of the table.
But the Dragons roared back thanks to strikes by Dean Keates and Danny Wright to keep Wrexham's own title aspirations alive.
That means Harriers remain top of the table going into Saturday's home clash against Lincoln City.
Second-placed Mansfield remain a point behind and still have game's in hand.
While the Carpetmen entertain the Imps on Saturday, championship hopefuls Newport, Wrexham and Mansfield go to Cambridge, Woking and Barrow respectively.
