SPORTS EDITOR'S POSTBAG: With Harriers chairman Ken Rae defending the sale of key players Nathan Blissett and Chey Dunkley, and also indicating that — if the price was right — other players could be sold, it must appear from the supporters’ point of view that he and the board have no real ambitions for the club.
Surely the board should take a more positive view on the club’s position, particularly with manager Gary Whild doing his best with limited resources.
With Kath and Ernie Lane generously helping to pay the wage bill, the club still in the mix for an end-of-season play-off place and a possible run in the FA Trophy, all is not lost yet, not from the fans’ point of view anyhow!
