JUNIOR FOOTBALL: Cookley Girls U14s continued their excellent current form with an empathic 13-1 win away to Sedgley Scorpios, to take them within four points of top spot in Central Warwickshire Girls Football League Premier Division.
Cookley played the entire game on the front foot and gave a great team performance, scoring at regular intervals during the game.
Jess Brett bagged a hat-trick and there were also braces for Lucie Dedicoat and Amy Pyne.
Jess Surridge, Lucy Stephens, Evie Billingsley, Roxy Carter, Katherine Byng and Olivia Ashfield also hit the back of the net.
Cookley named Michelle Cullenaine as player of the month, and they entertain Coundon Court on Saturday (10.30am ko).
