MARTIAL ARTS: The future is bright for Tsunami Karate Club after five youngsters came home with a haul of medals at the recent Kimura Shukokai Headquarters Competition held at Portway Leisure Centre, Oldbury.
The boys competed in kata, kumite and impact against clubs from around the country.
Frank Southall won a gold medal in kumite and a silver in kata.
Archie Laight, in his first ever competition, won a silver in the impact section whilst his older brother Harry won a bronze in kata.
There were also medals for Thomas Hannon-Homer who won two bronze in kata and impact.
Iain Sinnett, who is a member of the Great Britain squad, won Bronze in the Senior Kumite event.
