SOPHIE Deeming-Lane stormed to another gold medal at Samurai’s Green and Under Championships.
The 15-year-old defeated rivals from Wolverhampton, Dudley, Wales and Leicester to take gold.
In the lighter weight group, Ellie McAteer put in another impressive performance, with excellent maximum point wins against players from Crawley and Wales on the way to bronze.
In the girls lower grade section there were bronzes for Lola Grosvenor and Cerys Jones and silver for Bonnie Deeming-Lane.
In the higher grade boys, Jake Ashen earned bronze.
There were also bronzes in the lower grade boys section for Harrison Flello, Toby Grosvenor and Luke Mole.
Samurai held their first get-together session for their ladies and older girls players.
Eight of their black belt ladies attended, including former Olympic reserve Kate Walker.
