Report submitted by Kidderminster and District Midweek Bowling League 

There is a reversal of fortune at the the top of Division 1 of the Kidderminster and District club Midweek Bowling League St Johns A had to fight hard to beat Kinver B on their home green but they eventually pulled off a 3 shots victory. Their closest rivals Franche had another successful week with a win at Cookley.

SW Royal Ord B maintain their hold at the top of Division 2, their win against Wolverley B make them unbeaten in this division, their nearest rivals Franche D were successful in their home derby they beat their C team club mates by 22 shots.

This week Division 3 leaders Royal Mail had a good home win against Carolians whilst Oldington C lost on the Crowther St green to St Johns Tomk. Kinver A also had a very respectful 59 shots win on their home green, but the score did not reflect the standard of bowling by the away team Bewdley C.

Nomads suffered a 3 shots defeat on their home green to SW Warriors meanwhile Wolverley C who hold the top spot in division had a significant win against Oldington D.

In the home derby at Franche the A team secured a win in Division 1 of the Thursday Afternoon Midweek against their B team rivals, this places the Franche A team ahead of St Johns OB A in the league tables, their rivals lost to little Lakes by 10 shots.

In Division 2 Ombersley suffered at the hands of St Johns OB B losing by 18 shots on the Crowther St Green but Carolians continue to demonstrate their strength, they beat Kinver B by 16 chalks.
