How they rated:

Harriers 3, Darlington 3

Hall: Solid showing from the keeper who punched and positioned himself well at times but could maybe have come to collect the late corner that Syers headed home for the equaliser. 7.

Pearson: It was difficult afternoon for a Harriers backline that conceded three. Caught out of position for Darlington's opener but did slot in well on the left following Taylor's half time withdrawal. 6.5.

Taylor: Struggled early on against Thompson on the left and scored an own goal on the brink of half time. Withdrawn at the break. 6.

Croasdale: Worked hard in the Harriers engine room and linked up well when Harriers were on top. 7.

Horsfall: Struggled late on as Darlington found a way back. Had won his fair share of headers before that and looked composed on the ball as ever. Had a second half strike ruled out for offside. 6.5.

O'Connor: A calming presence for large spells but again has to come under the spotlight as the defence shipped two late goals from set-pieces. 6.5.

Weeks: A really impressive showing from the former Wolves man who dictated play throughout. Always an option and keen to get his side on the attack. 8.

McQuilkin: Another all energy showing from the midfielder. Busy without the ball and always an option in support of he break. Got his name on the scoresheet as well. 7.5.

Ironside: The forward worked hard throughout and linked up play well. Missed one big chance to make it 3-0 but certainly carried a threat leading the line. 7.

Ngwatala: A really good showing from the Frenchman. He found space drifting in from the right and capped an impressive afternoon with a fine strike early in the second half. 8.

Brown: Harriers' main threat early in he first half and controlled his finish really well to open the scoring. Hit with an elbow from Gary Brown that should have seen the later given his marching orders but kept his composure and continued to carry a threat out wide. 7.5.

Subs:

Austin: Late replacement for Ngwatala and couldn't get in the game as Darlington pushed for a leveller. 6.5.

Williams: Came on for Taylor at half time and did okay until his moment of madness ten minutes from time. He needlessly got involved in a spat with Saunders near the corner flag and saw red, leaving his team to defend without him in the closing stages. 5.

Unused subs: Wright, Sonupe, Truslove.
