BEWDLEY Town continued their good start to the season by making it into the next round of the FA Vase.
Despite a mixed bank holiday weekend, which saw Bewdley follow up a 5-2 win against Bilston Town with their first loss of the West Midlands Premier League season against Malvern Town, they made no mistakes to make it into the second round qualifying for the Vase.
Town dispatched FC Stratford 1-0 in the first qualifying round at the weekend and Bewdley have now been drawn with a trip to East Midlands Counties League outfit Ashby Ivanhoe, with the match set to be played on September 15.
But first, they will return to league action on Saturday by welcoming Haughmond to Ribbesford Meadow (3pm kick-off), who themselves have only lost one league game so far this season.
