WYRE Forest Cycle Racing Club's top juvenile rider Aimee Lane has been collecting medals in major competitions over the last few weeks.

In early August she placed ninth overall junior and second female juvenile in the RTTC National 25 Miles Championship with a time of one hour 11 minutes.

A week later, despite a fall at the halfway distance in the Coventry CC promoted 10 miles time trial, she picked herself up and finished with a time of 25 minutes 54 seconds for first place in the female juvenile category.

The following day, despite nursing a few bruises, Lane successfully defended her Welsh title finishing third overall juvenile and first female juvenile in the Pontypool RCC promoted Welsh Championship 10 miles time trial with a time of 25 minutes 28 seconds.

Last weekend, Lane made the long trip to Scotland to compete in the RTTC National 10 Miles Championship where an eleventh place finish with a time of 24 minutes 37 seconds in the Junior race gave her a second place finish in the female juvenile category.
