MOEEN Ali has earned a new ECB central contract for Test and white-ball cricket.

The Worcestershire all-rounder has earned the double deal for the past four years and retained it for the next 12 months.

Moeen is one of 10 awarded Test contracts and among 13 handed white-ball deals.

He is one of seven given the dual-contract alongside Jos Buttler, Adil Rashid, Jonny Bairstow, Joe Root, Ben Stokes and Chris Woakes.

Test specialists and those playing in all forms of the game will have their salaries paid in full by the ECB.

Under the structure, players in both formats will receive a ranking based on their performances on the pitch as well as a number of other factors including off-field contribution, fielding and fitness.

Those rankings will then correlate with the level of remuneration.
