How they rated:
Harriers 0, Chorley 4.
Hall: Made a couple of good saves in the second half as Chorley got on top. 6.
Vaughan: Full of energy and put some good balls into the box from out wide, one of which should have been converted by Chambers. 6.5.
Taylor: Did okay but not at his best when having to play deeper in a back four. 5.
O’Connor: Not a great afternoon for the defence as Chorley’s attackers found too much space whenever they got the ball in the box. 5.
Horsfall: He and O’Connor struggled whenever the visitors attacked. There was too much space between the pair early on and marking wasn’t good enough. 5.
Penn: Did well early on and kept things simple but couldn’t have an impact after his side went behind. 6.
Weeks: Poor showing from the midfielder. His sloppy pass led to Chorley’s third. 4.5.
Daniels: Good energy early on and positioned himself well. Drove forwards at times too. Like Penn he was solid if unspectacular. 6.
Bradley: Picked up the ball in good areas but struggled to find a way through. 6.
Chambers: Full of running but passed up his side’s best chance from Vaughan’s cross in the second half. 5.
Williams: A frustrating afternoon as he failed to have the impact he’s capable of as Chorley shut down his space. 5.
Subs: Richards: Brought some added pace to the attack but the game had already gone. 6.
Johnson: Replaced the injured O’Connor. Gave the ball away when looking to play out from the back. 5.
Austin: Did well after coming on and did find a few neat balls into the box from out wide. 6.
Unused subs: Baxendale, Wagner.
