ANGRY Lye Town boss Andy Wyton has threatened to ring the changes at Stourbridge Road following their 2-1 defeat to AFC Wulfrunians this week in the Total Motion Midland League Premier Division.

Wyton complained: " We fell well below standard and couldn't string two passes together. I would say it was our worst performance of the season.

"We had no legs in midfield, no energy and no work ethic.

"We were non existent in midfield and there are no excuses. I've been faithful to some of the players, but now it's time for things to change."

Lye play hosts to Loughborough University this Saturday in a Midland League match and already Wyton is insisting: "It's a must-win game. We've been carrying people for far too long and I won't hesitate to freshen things up and put a few people on their toes.

"We've got our FA Vase game with Cogenhoe coming up the following week and we've got to get back to our best and start working harder, otherwise we'll lose that game."
