How they rated:

Harriers 1, Curzon Ashton 1

Hall: Largely a spectator for much of the game but made one good save from Ryan Brooke in the second half. 6.

Vaughan: Won the ball back well on a number of occasions and put some good balls in the box from out wide as Harriers dominated. 7.

Austin: Good energy down the left flank and always looking to run with the ball at feet. 6.

Penn: Solid in midfield and quick to snap into challenges. Kept things simple. 6.

Horsfall: Defended well and won his headers when required. He and Johnson left the Curzon goalscorer unmarked though. Saw a header saved late on. 7.

Johnson: Commanding showing and did well with the ball at feet too. Made one late tackle when already on a booking but the ref had already halted play for an earlier incident. 7.

Weeks: Always looking to receive the ball from his defenders and kept Harriers ticking as Curzon dropped off. His late corner led to the equaliser. 7.

Richards: Did well in the first half and looked lively when collecting the ball in good areas. Faded in the second half. 7.

Chambers: Caused problems with his movement all afternoon but his finishing let him down as he passed up three really good opportunities. 7.5

Bradley: Linked play well and carried the ball with purpose. Created a host of chances and popped up to head in Harriers’ late equaliser. 7.5.

Williams: Another who looked a constant threat, especially in the first half. Again denied in the second by a good save from the Curzon keeper. 7.

Subs: Waring: Gave Harriers more of a physical presence when came on and had a late header saved. 7.

Daniels: Replaced Penn late on but couldn’t have an impact. 6.

Unused subs: Baxendale, Phillips, Palmer.
