KIDDERMINSTER Carolians put the disappointment of defeat last week aside with a huge home win against Rugby St Andrew.

Following good work by the forwards a move involving the backs released Chris May-Miller to score the first try in the corner after five minutes.

Soon after, more good work by the forwards provided a platform for Chris Pinner to score then from a rolling maul several long passes allowed Arthur Morgan to bag a try in the corner.

Soon after this KCs turned over an attack on their 22 metre line and Rhys Pritchard made a break to sprint 75 metres to cross the line.

The next 10 minutes was played in each half, good KCs pressure was halted when four penalty infringements handed possession to the opposition.

Then, from a penalty awarded to Kidderminster, a good move close to the line culminated in a Jess Smith try in the corner taking KC to 25-0 at half time

Chris May Miller showed his flair and pace in scoring the next two tries from wide out to complete his deserved hat-trick.

KCs' forwards wheeled an opposition scrum and Chris Pinner fed Arthur Morgan who, with a 40 metre mazy run, ghosted through to score under the posts leaving the opposition baffled and Pinner converted.

The next try was scored by Rich Sollom following a Tom Mayer break. Meyer was prominent in both defence and attack from the moment he came on as a replacement, Pinner again added the extras.

Pressure from KCs was telling as Arthur Morgan and Chris Pinner combined for Dave Kane to make a powerful run to score.

Another strong run from the halfway line by Arthur Morgan completed his hat-trick, Pinner again converted to take the final score to 61 – 0.

KCs face a cup clash with Old Laurentians next Saturday at Marlpool Lane.
