FAIRFIELD Villa's fabulous run of form continued as they crushed local rivals Barnt Green Spartak 6-2 in Total Motion Midland League Division Two.
Ellis Blakemore and Connor Collins both cracked home a couple of goals with Alfie Bloomer and Dan Wilkes also on target as Villa built a 6-0 lead.
Villa spokesman Paul Oakes said: "We did take our foot off the gas after that and Spartak scored twice in as many minutes.
"That said, both Connor and Ellis had the chance to complete their hat-tricks. Ellis missed a great chance while Connor hit the post with a free kick.
"We've already surpassed last season's target but we're sitting on the coat-tails of the top three and we need to keep going, especially as the leaders all have to play each other.
"I did feel a bit sorry for Spartak as they'd lost four players in the week to other clubs, but we can only worry about ourselves."
Villa travel to Hampton FC this Saturday when they will be missing several regulars.
Oakes explained: "Dan Wilkes and James McKeon are having a birthday bash in Dublin which some of the players are attending.
"However, it's exactly for reasons like this that we established a reserve side this season and some of them will get their chance."
