HARRIERS have bolstered their squad with the addition of former Wolves and Shrewsbury Town man Liam McAlinden.

The 25-year-old joins on an initial one-month loan from League Two side Cheltenham Town.

The powerful player, who can play out wide or through the middle, is no stranger to Harriers having played the majority of his career in the Midlands, rising through the ranks at Wolves before featuring at first-team level in the Championship and League One.

He bagged further experience with the likes of Shrewsbury, Fleetwood and Crawley Town on loan, before moving to Exeter City for two-year spell, then heading to the Robins.

He’s found first-team football hard to come by at Cheltenham but has played at National League North level this term, having just completed a month’s loan at Brackley Town.

McAlinden is immediately available for Harriers ahead of this weekend’s trip to AFC Telford United.
