KIDDERMINSTER came out on top by just two runs after a dramatic conclusion to their clash with Walsall.
The nail-biting finish in the Birmingham League Premier Division fixture was the culmination of a 600 run thriller.
Hosts Kidderminster lost the toss and were put into bat and posted an impressive 295-6.
Andy Kimberlin led the way with a century and captain Neil Pinner put on 87 while Luke Stynes finished with 4 for 40 for Walsall.
The visitors took up the challenge, Alex Mellor and Billy-J Cox scored 84 each leaving the game poised with 12 runs required from the final two overs to win.
Kidderminster youngster Sam Beadsworth saved a certain six with a diving parry but had to leave the field after the ball struck him in the face.
Bowler Chris Steele stayed calm and took his third and Kidderminster’s seventh wicket in the same over with Walsall scoring only five runs.
Walsall needed seven runs from the final over but Liam Weston kept it tight and conceded just four.
When Sam Mills was run out on the final ball Walsall were left on 293 for 8 and Kidderminster were victorious.
Weston finished with 2 for 29 and Chris Steele with 3 for 32.
