PROMOTED Bromsgrove Sporting have signed former Worcester City and Hereford forward Kyle Perry for the 2019-20 campaign.

Experienced Perry spent last season at Coalville Town who will be joined by Sporting in the Southern League Premier Division Central for the coming term.

The 6ft 4ins 33-year-old had short spells at City in 2016 and with Hereford on loan in 2012. Perry enjoyed fruitful moves to AFC Telford United, Tamworth and Chasetown before that alongside opportunities at Port Vale and Mansfield Town.

Sporting manager Bren Kelly said: “Kyle is a proven goalscorer and a very well-respected striker.

“He will add another dimension to our squad and I’ve no doubt we will need his physical presence in this physically-demanding division.

“I’m very pleased he chose Sporting from his various offers and he’s another lad with bag loads of experience on and off the field which will help us a lot.”

Perry said: “I’m delighted to be signing for Sporting for the coming season. For me, Bromsgove is a huge football club at this level and I’m excited to be a part of the set-up that has achieved so much in recent years.

“I can’t wait to get started and help the club push on.

“I’m still as hungry and as passionate as ever for success and feel Bren and the lads at the club are in a great position to push on.”
