How they rated:

Harriers 2, Gloucester 3

Gregory: Didn’t have a great deal to do in the first half and couldn’t do much about Gloucester’s goals. Winning penalty just crept under him. 6.

Austin: A willing runner on the right flank. Showed great energy all game and was often his side’s most threatening attacker when getting forward. 7.

Davidson: Another who excelled going forwards as showed when setting up Ash Chambers’ opener. Worked hard to cover the ground all evening. 6.5.

R. Williams: Started really confidently, especially in possession, but dwelt on the ball in the build-up for Gloucester’s equaliser. 6.

Moyo: A slightly erratic display from the skipper whose challenge led to the penalty winner for the visitors. It was a close call on if the foul came in or outside the box but it looked a clumsy challenge more than anything from the captain. 6.

Johnson: Struggled to have an impact and too often caught in possession. Seemed to opt to play longer balls more in the second half. 6.

Weeks: A brilliant first half display and was at the heart of everything Harriers did well. Looked to get on the ball and quickly found his range with his passing. Started the move for the first and fired home the second with a fine dipping effort. Couldn’t maintain his influence into the second half though. 7.

Butterfield: Got around the pitch well in midfield but struggled to have an impact. Managed a couple of long-range effort at goal. 6.

Chambers: Worked has hard as ever but endured another mixed night. Opened the scoring with a well controlled volleyed finish but his night ended on a low note as he saw a late penalty saved. 7.

E. Williams: Struggled to make an impact in the first half and often had to drop too deep to pick up possession. Improved in the second half and came alive towards the end of the second half when he was able to run at a tiring Gloucester defence. 6.5.

Peniket: Held the ball up well and linked well with Chambers in the first half has Harriers enjoyed their best spell. Did drift out of it in the second half but plugged on and saw a late header sail just wide. 6.

Unused subs: Prosser, Mountjoy, Higginson, Scott, Lowth.
