How they rated:

Harriers 0, Chester 1

Gregory: Solid showing from the Harriers goalkeeper. Flapped at one cross in the first half but that was the only blip during a confident display. 6.

Austin: Worked really hard going up and down the right flank. Always an outlet. 6.

Davidson: An okay afternoon from the left back. Put in some good crosses from the left and tested the Chester keeper early in the second half. 6.

Williams: Did well to clear a first half Chester effort off the line and neat on the ball. Seems to be improving with each game. 7.

Moyo: Snapped into the tackle well and moved over to the right to cover. Not as tested in the second half as Chester managed the game well and sat on their one-goal advantage. 6.

Johnson: Defended when needed to but not heavily involved. Had to fill in at left back as Harriers made a formation change late on. 6.

Weeks: Struggled to get on the ball early on but then went off with a groin injury near the half hour mark. 5.

Butterfield: A busy performance in midfield but struggled to find time on the ball. Curled one effort over the bar in the first half. 6.

Chambers: Kidderminster’s biggest threat all afternoon. Made clever runs and always showing for the ball. Should have snatched a point late on after charging down Russ Griffiths’ clearance but missed with the goal at his mercy. He made the chance himself but that miss summed up Harriers’ afternoon. 7.5.

Williams: Struggled to have an impact as the game wore on. Couldn’t get on the ball in those deeper positions off the front men that he likes so much. Had one first half shot saved. 6.

Peniket: Worked hard to hold up the ball and showed a few neat touches but was another who struggled to have an impact. 6.

Subs: Prosser: Did well after replacing Weeks. Kept things simple in midfield but moved the ball well. 6.

Scott: A few heavy touches early on but soon found his feet as he looked to attack down the flanks. Can build on that. 6.

Unused subs: Mountjoy, Higginson, Lowth.
