How they rated:
Harriers 1, Brackley 3
Gregory: At fault for the second but recovered from that and pulled off a string of late saves to keep the score down. 6.5.
Austin: A lot of effort and got a few good balls in the box but difficult to get forward as Harriers failed to keep the ball for prolonged spells. 6.
Davidson: Scored Harriers only goal and plugged away down the left flank. One of Harriers’ better performers on a disappointing night. 6.5.
Sharman: Did well early on and looked calm in possession with neat balls into midfield but struggled as Brackley got men forward to pull the back four across the pitch. 5.5.
Moyo: Did better after being pushed into midfield where he was needed most but endured a difficult afternoon as the visitors took control. 5.5.
Johnson: Rushed his distribution forward and it was all too easy for Armson to get in behind for the goal despite a warning from the same player coming beforehand. 5.
Prosser: Got on the ball early in the game but drifted out of it in the second half as the home side struggled to maintain any sort of pressure. 5.
Shenton: A few neat touches and linked up well enough at times but again he was easily crowded out as Kidderminster lost the midfield battle. 5.
Chambers: Again the effort was there at times but that final moment passed him by as he saw two good efforts go begging early in the second half. 5.
Williams: Sloppy in possession all night and too often gave the ball away in dangerous areas of the pitch. Struggled to have an impact in the final third. 5.
Peniket: A few moments when he linked up well but didn’t do much beside that. Feeding off scraps in truth as good balls in were at a premium. 5.
Subs: White: Replaced Prosser but struggled to get involved. 5.
Freemantle: Late replacement for Shenton and didn’t have time to have an impact. N/A.
Unused subs: Palmer, Higginson, Lowth.
