How they rated:

Harriers 0, Stafford 0

Palmer: Didn’t have a lot to do for long spells but collected well when required and pounced on a late chance after Stafford broke. 6.

Austin: Bundle of energy in the first half but didn’t have as much of an impact in the second as Stafford dropped deep. Often ignored when in space. 6.

Davidson: Worked hard again but his final ball let him down in the second half when Harriers were pushing for a winner. 6.

R. Williams: Didn’t put a foot wrong and won his battles. Composed on the ball as he continues to impress. 6.5.

Moyo: The captain did okay as he snapped into challenges and looked for the ball in defence. Not test too often by Rangers. 6.

Higginson: Stepped into the side to replace the absent Ryan Johnson and settled quickly. Good distribution and won his headers. He can be pleased with his contribution and will be looking to build on this. 6.5.

Weeks: Made Harriers tick throughout the first half as they dominated the ball and created enough chances to have scored. Got on the ball in the second half and was always on option but couldn’t find a killer pass as Stafford shut down the space in front of him. 7.

Butterfield: His performance mirrors the team’s somewhat. Busy in the first half and found space in good areas but drifted out of it in the second. Good late run saw him poke the ball narrowly wide in injury time, though. 6.

Chambers: Full of running again but passed up some good chances in the first half. Heading one good opening straight at King and seeing another hit the post. Chances dried up for him in the second half. 6.

E. Williams: Got on the ball well in the first half but couldn’t provide the moment of quality Harriers look to him for. Had a fine, dipping shot tipped over the bar at the end of the first half. Another whose impact lessened in the second half after being pushed further forward. 6.

Peniket: Picked up an injury in the first half and had to be replaced by Prosser. Reds missed his aerial threat for when Stafford dropped deep. 5.

Subs: Prosser: Replaced Peniket and did well when finding space in good areas. Put in a fine cross from the right that Chambers volleyed against the post and kept plugging away. 6.5.

Shenton: Added some fresh legs late on and saw a late drive pushed away by King. 6.

Unused subs: Mountjoy, White, D. Lowth, S. Lowth, Digie.
