WORCESTERSHIRE'S Moeen Ali has been named in both the international T20 and one-day international squads for England's upcoming white-ball tour of South Africa.

The 33-year-old all-rounder is involved in the the touring party that departs for South Africa departs on Monday 16 November, where they will play three IT20s and three ODIs taking place behind closed doors in a bio-secure environment at Newlands, Cape Town and Boland Park, Paarl.

Earlier this year Ali was named in a 55-man group of players to begin training ahead of international fixtures starting in England following the COVID-19 pandemic and was included in England's 30-man squad to start training behind closed doors for the Test series against the West Indies.

Ali was handed the vice-captaincy in England's 24-man squad for the ODI series against Ireland in July and then in September, became the first Asian-origin cricketer to captain England in T20s and the first Asian-origin cricketer to captain England in any format since Nasser Hussain in 2003.
