Stourport Men’s 1st XI 6-0 Olton & West Warwickshire 2nd XI

Stourport men's 1st XI travelling to take on Olton & West Warwickshire 2nd's continued their unbeaten run with a 6-0 victory, in their Midland Division 1 match. Stourport dominated the opening exchanges, with Callum Stanley scoring Stourport’s first with his initial touch. Stourport extended their lead when Joe Schubert popped up to score and Captain Andy Cavendish made it three-nil, slotting a penalty flick into the bottom corner before the break. Stourport continued to dominate possession, adding a fourth with Schubert's second. Josh Appleby added a fifth before a well-worked move between Coach Stefan Sekula and Schubert led to the latter's hat trick.

Stourport Men’s 2nd XI 1-5 Olton & West Warwickshire 3rd XI

Stourport Men's 2nd XI entertained Olton 3rd's in their Midland Division 4 West, losing 1-5 to their visitors. With both sides suffering the effects of Covid, it was the visitors who took the advantage, in the first half, scoring three goals without reply despite some good play from Stourport. The home side pulled a goal back in the second half when Mark Wilson's penalty corner drag-flick was tapped in by Matt Derbyshire, but, Olton continued to catch Stourport on the break adding two more goals before the final whistle.  

Stourport Men’s 3rd X1 4-3 King Heath Pickwick 1st X1

Stourport Men's 3rd XI came back from two goals to beat their visitors Kings Heath Pickwick 1st's 4-3, in the Midland South West 6 Division match. With several players on 2nd team duty, Stourport found themselves with a minimum of eleven players, and two goals down early on. With Ian Roberts taking control of the midfield for Stourport, the home team earned two penalty corners that were converted by Rob Lashford and Martin Tucker. In the second half, Stourport strung a series of passes together which resulted in Captain David Knott scoring from the edge of the circle. A counter-attack coming down the left-hand side allowed Kings Heath to equalise midway through the half. Stourport secured the points in the last ten minutes when Knott scored his second following a pinpoint pass into the circle from Stourport's player of the match Roberts.

Stourport Men’s 5th XI 5-2 Kings Heath Pickwick 2nd XI

Stourport men's 5th XI travelled to Kings Heath where they gained three points against their hosts, King Heath Pickwick 2nd's, winning 5-2 in the Midlands Men's Division 9 South West league. Two goals by Lee Slipanczewski in the twenty-fifth and thirty-fifth gave the visitors a 1-2 scoreline at the break. Despite Redditch adding a second, Stourport powered ahead in the second half with a goal from Steve Jones in the fifty-fifth, and two more from Slipanczewski in the sixtieth and sixtieth-fifth minutes, rounded off the scoring for Stourport. 

Stourport Men’s 6th XI 1-3 Redditch 3rd XI

Stourport men's 6th XI failed to capitalise on a number of goal scoring opportunities, and went two goals down in their Midlands 10 South West Division match, against their hosts, Redditch Development side. Pressure from Stourport resulted in Zucky Shabbir pulling one back, but Redditch added a third with the last hit of the match.

 

Stourport Ladies’ 2nd XI 1-0 Matlock 1st XI

Stourport ladies 2nd put an end to Matlock’s unbeaten track record in the Midlands Women's Premier League beating their visitors. With the scores goalless at the break, Stourport put in a great performance scoring the only goal of the match. Matlock did bounce back but was unable to get the all-important goal.

Stourport Ladies 4th XI 8-4 Redditch 1st XI

Four goals in each half saw Stourport Ladies 4th XI securing an impressive victory in the Midlands Women's Division 3 South West league, beating their visitors Redditch 1st's 8-4. The backbone of this victory was the impressive performances by youngsters, all of whom had outstanding performances for the home side. Redditch began as the stronger side, but with the help of their youngsters, Stourport rallied and began to produce some fine passing hockey. Although Redditch had pulled a goal to make it 3-1, by the break Stourport was 4-1 ahead. Redditch stunned Stourport with two quick goals at the start of the second half, giving them some nervous moments before Stourport added a fifth and then a sixth. Redditch was never out of this match and pulled themselves back again within a two goals distance, of their hosts, with their fourth. With Redditch still looking dangerous on the break found Stourport's keeper who prevented the visitors from gaining a lifeline with some outstanding saves. Stourport pushed on adding a seventh and right at the final whistle an eighth. Stourport goal scorers: Hazel Claris (1), Katie Robinson (1), Katie Walker (3), Lora Miller-Symonds (3).
