ADVENTUROUS left-back Alex Jeannin is confident that Harriers can recover from Saturday's disappointing defeat to Blue Square Premier basement boys Droylsden (listen to full interview).

The French defender made his Harriers debut in Saturday's 1-0 loss to The Bloods in Manchester, after joining Harriers on-loan until the end of the season, from Oxford United.

The former Troyes, Exeter and Darlington man is hoping to use his promotion winning experience at Hereford to lift Harriers and help them break into the top five.

"Hopefully I will bring some experience and some enthusiasm into the team," said Jeannin.

"I won promotion with Hereford so I know exactly what kind of football it takes to be successful in the Blue Square Premier.

"It's a good squad here. I have already played against Kidderminster twice this season and both games were hard because they are a very good team.

"The game on Saturday was very disappointing for us and it was a disappointment to me because it was my first match.

"It's not very good when you start with a defeat, especially against a team at the bottom of the league, but I think we can bounce back on Saturday against Northwich Victoria."

The defender is also hoping to give Harriers an extra attacking dimension with some trademark raids down the left flank. Jeannin got forward as often as possible against Droylsden, overlapping with winger Michael Blackwood.

"I like to play good football, to get forward and overlap with my left winger.

"I am always someone who will give 200 per-cent on the pitch and hopefully I can show what I am capable of on Saturday," added the 30-year-old.
