In a Midlands Premier Division fixture that saw second-placed Stourport men's 1st XI beat their hosts 2-3 when they travelled to third-placed Leek 1st XI.

Despite the match starting twenty minutes late Stourport dominated the early exchanges, against the half-court press of Leek.

It was the hosts that took the lead from a penalty corner, Alex Cook in the Stourport goal, unsighted to the slip strike, at the break.

Within five minutes of the restart, Stourport found themselves with a battle on their hands as Leek made it 2-0.

However, Stourport was back in the match five minutes later, when Stef Sekula, picked up the ball at the top of the circle after a penalty corner had broken down and stuck the ball past the keeper.

With ten minutes left Captain Andy Cavendish slipped the ball to Joe Schubert, from a corner, who slotted the ball into the goal to make it 2-2.

Five minutes later Simon Claris, in the circle lofted the ball past the keeper to make it 2-3, in a match that produced an incredible comeback and maintains a three-season unbeaten run for Stourport men's 1st XI.

Stourport's men's 5th XI lost in their home match in the Midlands 8 South West Division, when they went down 1-4 to their visitors Edgbaston 6th's.

Stourport was the better team of the first forty minutes, with Michael Kirby Davis scoring, his first goal of the season, in the sixth minute only for Worcester to level by the break.

However, despite a fine performance by Stourport's player of the match Paul Hutton, Worcester scored three more times before the final whistle.

Stourport ladies 2nds entertained a strong Nottingham University 2nd XI side, under the lights, in their Midland Premier Division, drawing 2-2.

Showing some grit and determination saw Stourport go 1-0 up, through a reverse hit from Rachel Howles, only for the visitors to equalise, with a strike from the top of the 'D', seconds before the half-time whistle.

Stourport came out strongly in the second half pushing forward for a goal, but,  it was Nottingham who scored next when Stourport conceded a penalty flick, which was calmly converted by the visitors. Stourport continued to push forward and scored a well-earned equaliser through Sophie Tibbets, who flicked the ball high into the roof of the net over a standard keeper. The continued to be a high-intensity end-to-end affair without any further score.
