The match began evenly between two sides separated by a single place in the table, however by halftime Stourport was 3-0 down. Stourport gained more control of the match in the second half, stifling the Boots attack. However, the visitors were unable to create any meaningful chances which tested the Boots keeper.

Droitwich fought back after the break with Stourport having to alter their press to give the visitors a better defensive position.

The home side pulled a goal back but a final goal by Captain Lucy Harding, with a stroke of luck, made the final score 4-1.
