Stourport men's 2nd XI remain top of the Division 3 West after they won 5-0 away to Cannock.

Stourport laid siege to the Cannock goal in the opening minutes of the match, and after a number of chances Stourport went ahead through Chris Miles, to give the visitors a 1-0 advantage at the break.

Stourport added a second after a melee in the Cannock area and Adam Leeke's shot was forced over the line by Joshua Appleby, Stourport's third followed via a mistrapped shot from Ewan* when his deceiving shot beat the keeper.

It was the turn of the Stourport Captain Adam Leeke to get on the score sheet. Cannock wasn't out of this match though, but for a fine defensive display by Nathan Claris and Guy Tasker who solidly dealt with any attacks by the Cannock forward line.

The men's 4th XI came away with a 5-3 win against their hosts West Bromwich 2nd in the Midland 7 South West league.

Stourport fielding a greatly changed side from the previous week took the points with single goals from Jacob* and a brace of goals for both David Knott and Pete Gibbins, the latter scoring the goal of the match, with a run from the twenty-three-metre line and then beating the keeper in a one on one with a low shot across the goal for the final goal. 

Both youngsters Jacob* and Noah* were awarded joint player of the match by Stourport for some excellent contributions and playing a standard of hockey advanced of their years.  

The men's 5th XI went down 0-1 to their visitors Bournville 4h's in the South West 9 Division. Stourport were unable to break down a loaded Bournville defence despite a player-of-the-match performance by debutant Olly*, who made some great saves in the Stourport goal. 

The ladies 2nd XI entertaining Towcester 1st's fought back from being a goal down to win their Midlands Division 1, 3-1.

Stourport started the match strongly but was unable to convert their chances and found themselves a goal down when Towcester went ahead against the run of play. Stourport were back on level terms before the break when an Amy Miller strike, off a short corner saw the home side awarded a penalty stroke.

Stourport's player of the match Olivia Laight stepped to convert the stroke, to leave the scores level at the break.

Stourport continued to exert their dominance in the second half as created a barrage of chances which kept Towcester's attacks to a minimum.

This pressure paid dividends with a further two goals for the home side, through a Miller strike from a corner and a well-finished goal by Sophie Tibbets to round off a good team performance.  

The ladies 3rd XI travelled to take on Bromsgrove 2nd in the Midlands Division 3 South West, and put in a battling performance against their hosts, only to concede the only goal of the match in the final five minutes.

Bromsgrove pressed their visitors hard in the opening moments of the match, but Stourport held firm and as the half progressed began to push forward themselves. 

In the second half, Stourport pressured the Bromsgrove defence but to no avail, and as the minutes ticked down the home attack managed to find a way past, player of the match, Amelia in goal, who'd up to then had defied the Bromsgrove forwards with some outstanding saves.
