Stourport Hockey Club's men's 1st XI remain second in the Men's National League Midlands Conference when they fought out a 1-1 draw with their visitors third placed Barford Tigers 1st XI.

Stourport went behind midway in the second quarter when Barford's Australian import scored with a drag flick.

Stourport trailed in throughout the match until the sixty-ninth minute when Simon Claris scored a penalty stroke to tie the match. A share of the points was no less than the Stourport side deserved from this match.

The men’s 5th XI moved to the top of the Men's Midland Division 9 South West league when they beat their hosts Droitwich 3rd 0-9 with John Kane being the star of the show scoring six of the visitor's goals, with two of these goals in the first half giving Stourport a 0-2 lead at the break.

In the second half, Stourport were quick to extend their lead with Kane completing his hat trick and John Tidmarsh adding Stourport's fourth.

Stourport continued to dominate the match mounting attack after attack, and added two more goals to make it 0-6 when Kane finished off a good move and the other coming from a penalty flick.

Then on the hour mark Tidmarsh struck to score his second and Stourport's seventh.  Two minutes later captain Mark Kirby-Davis drove in a pinpoint pass to find Darch in the D and with only the keeper to beat scored Stourport's eighth. Then with only two minutes to go, Kane netted his sixth goal and Stourport's ninth.

In an evenly matched game, the ladies' 2nd XI came away with a 2-0 victory over their hosts Leicester 2nd XI in the Women's Midlands Division 1.

The match started evenly but Stourport began to gain confidence when they won several short corners, which they were unable to capitalise on.

Stourport did score taking the lead just before the half-time break through Vicki.* The second half continued in much the same vain with Leicester still managing to attack despite having no substitutes, but Stourport's defence, including Stourport's player of the match Georgi Rees, was too strong for them.

Stourport still pushed forward with Hannah Corcoran providing some fantastic passes from the left which ripped through the Leicester team. Stourport extended their lead to 2-0 late into the match with Steph Collins adding a second against the run of play.

The ladies' 3rd XI came back from a goal down to draw 1-1 with their visitors Old Silhillian's 2nd XI in their Women's Midlands Division 3 South West.

Old Sils pressed the Stourport goal in the opening minutes but Stourport withstood the visitor's attacks and began to push forward themselves, it was Old Sils that took the lead though as the match developed into an end-to-end affair.

Stourport weren't behind for long and equalised from a short corner through a well-struck ball by Fran Moss at the top of the 'D'. The match continued to see both sides pushing for the winning goal as they threatened each other's goal, but it was Stourport who had the best chance to take all three points when they were awarded a penalty flick only for the Old Sils keeper to produce a fine save, to prevent from being converting.
