CUTNALL Green CC maintained their recent improvement in form in Division Three by earning the lion’s share of the points with a winning draw against Rushick on Saturday.

Gary Gough (50) and Alun Morgan (74) top scored as Green made 209-8, while Rushwick were kept to 137-8.

In Division Five Chainwire got the better of Highley by five wickets.

Chainwire opponents made 172-8, while Derek Cadwallader hit 84 not out to guide his side to 173-5.

Meanwhile Cleobury Mortimer’s game against Badsey and Brintons match with West Malvern were called off because of the rain.

In Division Six Kidderminster Victoria’s fifth team got the better of Pershore by five wickets.

Jamie Willetts took 4-34 as Pershore were kept to 194 all out.

In reply Simon Trickett top scored with 55 runs as KVCC made 196-5.

Chaddesley Corbett’s thirds lost to Avoncroft by four wickets in Division Eight.

Lincoln Gall hit 73 runs as Corbett recorded 210-6 but Avoncroft hit 211-6 in reply.
