RETIRING Worcestershire CCC legend Graeme Hick was presented with a Kidderminster Victoria Club tie by president Norman Broadfield.
The run machine, who watched his side clinch promotion from the Liverpool and Victoria County Championship Division Two at Chester Road, was given the gift special after his heroics for the club and county.
Hick started his glorious career at Kidderminster in 1984, hitting over a thousand runs in a short space of time, before moving onto Worcestershire.
He was on hand to watch his side win promotion to Division One of the County Championship, despite losing to Middlesex at Chester Road on Friday.
The Royals had struggled from the start, despite 111 runs by Stephen Moore as they made 265 all out in the first innings.
Their opponents ensured a decent lead going into the second innings after making 321 all out.
Ben Smith hit 52 but Worcestershire were bowled out for 122 and Middlesex made 67-2.
Despite the defeat, Worcestershire finished second in Division Two after Warwickshire got the better of Essex.
