MIDFIELDER Andy Ferrell believes Harriers are not out of the running for the Blue Square Premier's play-offs, despite having their hopes dented by the 2-1 loss to relegation battling Northwich Victoria at Aggborough.

In a podcast interview he admitted that the promotion hopefuls struggle against the bottom teams and in particular bogey side Northwich Victoria, who they have now not beaten in six attempts.

"We threw it away really, that's four points we have dropped against them," commented Ferrell.

"We haven't won a game against a team in the bottom four all season.

"We made Northwich look like they've got decent players, they're bottom and no disrespect we should be hammering teams like that.

"They created far more chances than us and I can't understand what happened."

However, the feisty Geordie also highlighted that with 17 games left in the season that it's not all doom and gloom at Aggborough and that Harriers are still in the hunt to for a place in the play-offs.

"We have to stick together as a team, we're not out of it with 17 games left and we'll fight all the way," he added.
