ANDY Ferrell is set to be out for at least a month after undergoing surgery on a troublesome knee problem.
The feisty midfielder had been playing with cartilage damage to his knee for the entire season after sustaining it in Devon in pre-season.
Manager Mark Yates said: "He picked up the injury on Devon and battled on but it's been getting worse and worse.
"We want him back with us and back in the squad as quickly as possible.
"It shows what type of player he is - he's played with injections and said he didn't want to miss any games but we've taken the decision to get it done as quickly as we can."
