Kidderminster Harriers Youth Team rounded off a superb season last night (Thursday) by winning the League Cup against Hednesford on penalties.
Harriers had taken a first half lead through Awale Juimale and appeared to have control of the game until Hednesford were awarded a penalty in the last two minutes to take the game into extra time.
Neither team could manage a goal during the period of extra time, leading to a penalty shoot out.
Goalkeeper Robert Holmes became the hero of the night, producing two saves to give Harriers victory.
The Kidderminster side have also won the Midland Floodlit Youth League Western Division Championship, as well as the Worcestershire U18s Cup.
