MEMBERS of Stourport Trampoline Club had a fantastic month with three competitions at Cocksmoors Woods Leisure Centre In the Worcestershire Schools tournament, the club saw Chantry High School pupils Taymar Pearce-Mason held onto the under-13s elite title, while Lily Crook finished third.

Students from Bewdley High School also had a good day, with George Collingridge becoming the under-13 boys elite champion after two superb routines, while Helen Watson gained a brilliant second place after two solid performances.

Bewdley's under-13s girls’ team of Eve Newman, Millie Court and Lizzy Watson also competed well to gain second place.

For Hagley High School, Sara Dyer competed two excellent routines to finish fourth place in the under-15s elite category, while schoolmate Shauna Kennedy had a brilliant competition to secure second place and a personal best.

In the junior section, Franche Primary School’s Katie Collingridge and Rebecca Watson (from Far Forest Primary) gained second and first place respectively.

Stourport High school had a good result with Connor Ward bringing home second place in the under-13s boys elite section, with Sophie Jancey coming fifth in the under-13 girls elite section.

The closed age competition was also a big success for Stourport, where members competed with the best in the West Midlands.

Katie Collingridge competed well to take second place after a high-difficulty routine.

Pearce-Mason also had a good competition with teammates Millie Court, Hollie Clarke and Jancey all competing well.

Crook and Helen Watson both had a good competition with two solid routines that scored high marks, which elevated both girls in the top 10 in the region.

Stourport also excelled in the regional qualifiers to enjoy their best competition of the year.

Hayley Parker competed for the second time in double mini-trampoline where she performed brilliantly receiving first place and qualifying for national level.

Isabel Pearce-Mason had a brilliant competition, completing two flawless routines to gain third place and a qualifying score.

Hollie Clarke gained a qualifying score with a personal best score of 45.10, but Jancey missed out by a slender margin as she recorded a personal best to come eighth.

Shauna Kennedy had a points deduction to ensure she finished in 22nd place.

Taymar Pearce-Mason, Crook and Watson all did well in the regional D section, where each of them were aiming for national level qualifying points.

Watson, who needed just one more point to qualify, had a steady competition, but was handed fourth place after being laid low by illness.

Pearce-Mason finished third but missed out on a point.
