KEEPER Dean Coleman admitted he is full of confidence after a fine display in Harriers' 2-2 Blue Square Premier draw at Wrexham last night.

The shot-stopper produced a string of fine saves in a frenetic match where driving rain and swirling winds caused havoc for both defences.

But Coleman was in commanding form, topping a succession of fine saves with a super stop to deny Andy Fleming in the second half.

He had a slice of luck in the final minute of the match, when Dragons strike Marc Williams charged his down his clearance but the ball flashed wide of goal.

"We were lucky to get a draw at the end, unfortunately on the two goals I thought we could have done better," commented the keeper.

"But the lads did well and we scored two goals of our own.

"I thought I did well and pulled off a couple of good saves to keep the lads in the game but that's what I am here for.

"The game got tired with the conditions and heavy pitch but the lads had dug in and got a draw.

"It was a bad pass back from Chris McPhee and I dealt with it properly but he's [Marc Williams] got there and it's unfortunate for Wrexham they didn't get the winner.

"I was ready for the first team spot last year but we had Adam Bartlett here but all I've done is keep my head down and now I am doing really well and I am confident.

"We need to go on a run now and make the play-offs.
