A COLD east wind did not deter several Wyre Forest Cycle Racing Club riders from competing in the hilly 18 miles time trial organised by the Wrekinsport CC.
Fastest rider for Wyre Forest was Phil Hunt, who seems to have lost none of his fitness over the winter months, as he posted a time of 45 minutes and 19 seconds to finish in ninth place.
He was followed by veteran Andy Convery in 11th place with a time of 45-40.
In third place for the club was Dave Wood with a time of 48-00 which gave him 23rd place overall.
Veteran Ian Connolly finished in 33rd place with a time of 50-27, while next home for the club was David Briggs who showed much improved form with a time of 50-47 and 37th place. Meanwhile, another veteran Norbert Wysocki finishing in 62nd place with a time of 69-41.
