HARRIERS must take full advantage of home games against relegation battling Salisbury and Cambridge, insists assistant manager John Finnigan.

The Aggborough outfit are in desperate need of a win after a six games without one.

Tuesday night's 1-0 loss to York in the Blue Square Premier was also hard to take for manager Steve Burr.

But while Salisbury and Cambridge are both still striving to ensure their place in the top flight of the Non-League Football this season, Finnigan believes Harriers won't be able to take victories for granted.

Finnigan said: "We've got two home games coming up and they're a good chance of getting back to winning games.

"We've had a tough patch but we haven't played too badly in the last few games.

"Against York we should have got something and we played well against Luton but didn't get what our efforts deserved.

"We can't take Salisbury or Cambridge for granted but we'd love to make sure we win those games and get back on track after a difficult period.

"We can't blame going out of the Trophy for our run because before that we had gone on an 11-game unbeaten run and confidence should have been high."

Harriers' manager might be tempted to hand starts to Jack Byrne and Marc Goodfellow, who both made big impacts when they came on in the second half against the Minstermen.

Finnigan looks as though he might be back for tomorrow's game after he broke down with injury. He has already missed the last five games.

Since picking up the injury in the draw against Ebbsfleet, Harriers have struggled for goals, scoring just two times in the last five matches.

Saturday's opponents will be wounded animals after their surprise 3-1 home loss to Forest Green Rovers.

Darrell Clarke is set to be available after serving a three-match suspension, but James Bittner is banned for tomorrow's clash after being sent off against Forest Green.

But the chances of a definite outcome are strong as Harriers' home form is good, while Salisbury have yet to draw a league game on their travels this campaign.
